Welcome to Brown Voices: The Podcast. In these conversations, I talk with South Asian Americans—creators, thinkers, professionals, and other interesting people—about identity, culture, and their stories. Episodes cover growing up Brown, breaking stereotypes, redefining success, and more.

...plus interviews from the original Brown Voices Be Inspired series (2017 and 2018).

The Brown Voices Podcast (also previously called the Brown Voices Be Inspired project), first started in 2017. It was grounded in the simple idea that representation matters. The series, which consisted of interviews in a written format, launched as part of the Improving South Asian American Experiences (ISAASE) program, an outreach program I started to partner with local schools and bring them free research and resources for teachers to learn more about South Asian American students and their needs. In 2026, I brought this project back to life in as a new video interview series, and that's how it exists today. Welcome to the Brown Voices Podcast, a conversation series that is part of the Brown Voices Project.
