
Sahira can't sleep and is on the verge of a panic attack, and leaves her bed to go to the forest, where Syfir is already waiting. He tells her the story of the river goddess, and how she became the river itself, and what the Mehr'an believe about that story.
Then he also tells her the story of Sahira's own mother's love story... which is essentially the story of Mirza Sahiba (!!!!).
She shares an intimate moment with Syfir, and before she leaves, sees blue patterns on her hands.
She leaves, and when she gets home, her cousin Leela is awake, waiting for her.
And before they go to sleep, Leela expresses her misgivings about Sahira marrying Tavin...
