ISAASE's focus on improving South Asian American students is demonstrated in the ongoing Diversity & Representation Initiative, which seeks to help provide diverse stories and representations of South Asian American cultures, experiences, and voices. Through this initiative, ISAASE seeks to create a platform that can elevate individuals whose achievements highlight this diversity.

ISAASE is developing the Student Mentorship Program to help connect South Asian American students with South Asian American adults who have been there.Since many South Asian American students report low levels of connectedness to school, or even socioemotional or academic challenges, Mentor volunteers can provide guidance and support.
